Programme of Acupunture-Moxibustion and Tuina

Educational Objectives:

This programme will enable students to understand the essential theory of Chinese medicine, grasp the knowledge and techniques of acupuncture-moxibustion and tuina, and improve their self-learning abilities. After graduation, students will have the ability of dealing with common diseases, frequently-occurring disease, emergency and critical diseases, may conduct medical practice, teaching and research in departments of acupuncture, tuina and Chinese medicine in medical institutions. Alternatively, they can work in the field of medical treatment, disease prevention, health care, rehabilitation and so on.

Majors of Acupunture-Moxibustion and Tuina

Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Tuina Manipulation, Tuina Rules, Acupuncture and Moxibustion Therapy, Acupuncture Therapy of Midnight-noon Ebb-flow, Meridians and Acupuncture Points, Tuina Therapeutics, etc.

Skills and Clinical Practice

Length of schooling: 5 years (one can complete schooling within 8 years)

Tuition：21,000 RMB / Year

Degree：Bachelor of Medicine                   

Admission Requirements：

1High school graduation or above

2. Requirements for Chinese language：HSK Level 3 or above

In case of no relevant Chinese examination results, a written and oral examination will be arranged by the University.
