Programme of Chinese Materia Medica

Educational Objectives:

This programme demands the students to master the fundamental knowledge and practical skills of Chinese Pharmacy, basic theories of Chinese Medicine, processing, Chinese Medical Chemistry, Chinese Materia Medica and its preparation analysis, etc. Graduates are able to conduct Chinese Materia Medica research and development, reasonable clinical application and other related works in this field.

Majors of Chinese Materia 

Medica Science of Chinese Materia Medica, Science of Medicinal Plant, Chemistry of Chinese Materia Medica, Science of Processing Chinese Materia Medica, Pharmacology of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Pharmacy of Chinese Materia Medica, Pharmacology of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Principle and Equipment of Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmaceutical Engineering, Chinese Medicine Products, Pharmacy Analysis of Chinese Medicine, Chinese Medicine Marketing, etc.

Skills and Clinical Practice

Preclinical Medicine Practice, Practice of Medicinal Plant, Instrumental Analysis, Practice of identification of Chinese materia medica, etc.

Survey of China, Medical Chinese, Chinese Language, Latin, etc.

Length of schooling: 4 years (one can complete schooling within 7 years)

Degree：Bachelor of Science                   

Admission Requirements：

1. High school graduation or above

2. Requirements for Chinese language：HSK Level 3 or above

In case of no relevant Chinese examination results, a written and oral examination will be arranged by the University.
