International Undergraduate Admission Information

Ⅰ.【Majors、Courses、Duration、Degree granted】

Ⅱ.【Eligibility】

i. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, between the ages of 18 and 30

ii. Good health, meet the corresponding professional admission conditions: proper eye sights with no color vision deficiency; normal function of hearing, smell and expression; Anyone with infectious diseases (hepatitis B, HIV, syphilis，tuberculosis, etc.) and chronic diseases are required to be completely cured before applying; Applicants with a history of mental disorder are not recommended to apply. International School has the rights to terminate student's application who don't meet the health requirements.

iii. Comply with the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the relevant regulations of the Capital Medical University (CMU).

iv. English Requirements:

(i) Native English speakers do not need to take English examination.

(ii) Students who attend English speaking secondary schools need to provide evidence in order to waive the English examination.

(iii) We require the score report of TOEFL/IELTS or other English test certificate for all international applicants whose primary native language is not English and who attend a non-English speaking secondary school. Minimum scores of 80 on TOEFL or 6.0 on the IELTS are recommended.

v. High school graduates or higher degrees with qualifying grades of mathematics, physics, and chemistry.

vi. Requirements of the regulations set in the Document No. 12 (2020) of Ministry of Education of the PRC should be met：According to the regulations released by Ministry of Education, China, if parent(s) was (were) a Chinese citizen settling in a foreign country at the time applicants were born, applicants must have obtained their current foreign citizenship before April 30, 2018. In addition, the applicant must have lived outside China for at least 2 years during the period between April 30, 2018 and April 30, 2022.

Emigrants from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan applying as international students must have obtained their current foreign citizenship before April 30, 2018. In addition, the applicant must have lived outside China for at least 2 years during the period between April 30, 2018 and April 30, 2022.

Ⅲ.【Application Procedure】

 i．Applying Period: From March 1st, 2022 to August 15th ,2022

 iii．Applicants are required to submit the following documents to Office of International Student Affairs of CMU:

 (i)．Completed Application Form for International Students Capital Medical University (can be downloaded)

 (ii)．Guarantor Form for International Applicants of CMU (can be downloaded) and Copy of the Guardian's ID or Passport

 (iii)．Diploma of highest degree conferred or proof of impending graduation (for applicants in their final year of study) & Transcripts of highest degree conferred

 (iv)．Photocopy of valid passport identification page (Only ordinary passport is accepted).

Applicants currently residing in China must provide a copy of the page containing a valid visa or residence permit.

 (v)．The results of TOEFL, IELTS, or English Proficiency Certificate for the applicant (80 or above in TOEFL, 6 or above in IELTS)(only for applicants from non-English speaking countries).Students from high school with major courses taught in English may be waivered of the above English requirements.

(vi)．Physical Examination Record with blood test results (Hepatitis B surface antigen, HIV, syphilis, and TB) within six month. Anyone with chronic disease or genetic disease need to notify

International School.

 (vii)．None Criminal Offend Certificate provided by local Police Department within six month.

(viii).Statement of Financial Support for International Students (can be downloaded) and the guarantor's own or the student's Bank Deposit Certificate (The minimum amount should be 15,000 USD)

*Hard copies of the documents are not required in the application 2022, Applicants send all of scanned copies to overseas@ccmu.edu.cn for application.

* Additional application documents may be required when necessary.

 Ⅳ.【Admission and Registration】

i． Students are enrolled on the basis of competitive selection according to their academic performance in senior high school, language proficiency and performance in the Capital Medical University Enrollment Exam.

ii．The Acceptance Letter and JW202 Form will be sent to qualifying applicants; applicants can take the two documents to Chinese Embassy to apply for student (X1) visa.

iii．Registration time：Students must register on the date specified in the acceptance letter. Late registration has to be approved by CMU Student office. Those who are two weeks overdue are considered voluntary withdrawal. Upon registration at CMU, students are not allowed to transfer to other universities.

iv．Within the first 3 months, students are in the probation period, school officials will recheck identity, health condition, and academic performance, any violation within first 3 months will be expelled from the school.

Ⅴ【Scholarship】 Beijing Foreign Students Scholarship

i．Qualified students can apply no more than 20,000 RMB / academic year from Second Year.（The scholarship amount may vary according to the actual quota of the year）

ii．Qualified new students can all apply 10,000RMB Scholarship for the 1st Year.

Ⅵ.【Tuition, Fees and Dormitory 】

Place of residence: Student apartment, Capital Medical University International School

Notes:

1. All the fees above mentioned are paid in RMB；After registration, the fees paid by the students are not refundable or transferred.

2. Accommodation will be arranged by school at first come first serve base. Student's preferences are subject to change according to availability.

3. International School reserves the right to change the accommodation and teaching facilities according to the University policies.
