1.School Brief Introduction

Founded in 1958, Heihe University is located in Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province, known as the Pearl of the Northern Territory of the Motherland. It is the only ordinary higher education institution in China within 4300 kilometers of the border between China and Russia. The school covers an area of 564,600 square meters, with a total fixed asset value of 431 million yuan. There are currently 816 faculty members and 10,317 full-time students. There are 14 secondary colleges and 38 undergraduate programs. There are two national characteristic major construction sites and three provincial key majors. In November 2017, it was approved to be the authorized construction institute for the proposed new master's degree.

Heihe University has three scholarships available,including the Chinese Government Scholarship Program, the Heilongjiang Provincial Government Scholarship Program, and the Confucius Institute Scholarship Entrusted Institutions. The Institute of International Education specializes in enrollment, teaching and management of students studying in China. Since 2003, it has recruited foreign students from Russia, Ukraine, Korea, Nepal, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Vietnam and other countries to study in the school. The college upholds the teaching purpose of "student-oriented", and welcomes international students from all over the world to choose Heihe University!

3.Application Procedures

3.1First, the applicant must be on the website of Heihe University International Education College

(http://gjjyxy.hhhxy.cn/info/1049/2007.htm) Download the Application Form for Heihe University Foreign Students Admission.

3.2Fill in the application form correctly. For visa application, the following documents must be prepared: your education background, transcript, health check certificate, passport copy and three 2-inch (3 × 4) white photos. Above mentioned documents should be mailed back to school.

3.3For eligible applications, Heihe University will issue an invitation letter and fill out a visa application form to China (jw202 form).

3.4The applicant should bring a visa application form to China to apply for a study visa at the Chinese embassy in another country.

3.5After the visa application is completed, the applicant must report to the school with the original admission letter of Heihe University and the visa application form to China.
