QUALIFICATION

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport in compliance with the provisions of Nationality Law of the People's republic of China, between the ages of 18 and 28, and have attained a senior high school diploma.

2. According to the relevant regulations of Chinese Ministry of Education, former residents of mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan who have emigrated to other countries and are applying as international students, must present valid passport or citizenship documents dating from before April 30, 2018 and proof of residence abroad for at least 2 years from April 30, 2018 to April 30 2022(9 months of residence abroad per year may be considered as one year).

3. According to the relevant regulations of Chinese Ministry of Education, applicants whose both or one of parents is a Chinese citizen and has settled abroad, having foreign nationality at birth, not having Chinese nationality, when applying as international students, must present valid passport or citizenship documents dating from before April 30,2018, along with proof of residence broad for at least 2 years from April 30, 2018 to April 30, 2022(9 months of residence abroad per year may be considered as one year).

4. Applicants should have good command of Chinese and be able to take courses in Chinese.

-Application Form

-Copy of the page with personal information in the passport (ordinary passport)

-Highest Education Diploma (notarized photocopy or original one) or Certificate of expected graduate date from the high school studying currently

-Notarized transcripts

-Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form and the Report on Blood Examination.

-The results of HSK (4+), or Chinese Proficiency Certificate for the applicant whose educational language is not Chinese

-Certificate from the financial guarantor of the applicant and bank statement

-Certificate of Non-criminal record

-Study plan (800 words in English)

-Applicants(i)whose both or one of parents is a Chinese citizen and has settled abroad, having foreign nationality at birth, not having Chinese nationality, or (ii) who formerly were residents of mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan and have emigrated to other countries, should present: Valid passport or citizenship documents dating from before April 30, 2018; Birth certificate and nationality proof of both parents at the time of applicant’s birth, including proof of their permanent residency abroad; Proof of cancellation of Chinese Nationality (required for applicants(ii));Proof of residence abroad for at least 2 years from April 30, 2018 to April 30, 2022 (9 months of residence abroad per year may be considered as one year).
