I. Scholarship Coverage

1. Full Scholarships

CGS - Full Scholarship: full tuition waiver, free university dormitory, monthly stipend and comprehensive medical insurance covered during the corresponding study period

SGS - Type A: full tuition waiver, free university dormitory, monthly stipend and comprehensive medical insurance covered during the corresponding study period

Stipend:  Undergraduate students: CNY 2,500 per month

Master's students: CNY 3,000 per month

Doctoral students: CNY 3,500 per month

2. Partial scholarship

CGS - Partial Scholarship: one or some items of CGS full scholarship

SGS - Type B: full tuition waiver and comprehensive medical insurance covered during the corresponding study period

How to Apply:

Step 1 - Apply to the dispatching authorities for overseas study of your home country for CGS opportunity;

Step 2 - Apply to your target university (Donghua University) for the Pre-admission Letter once recommended by the dispatching authorities as an eligible candidate (you will receive an Award Letter for CGS Candidate);

Step 3 - Complete the online application procedure at CGS Information Management System for International Students (Visit http://www.campuschina.org and click “Application Online” to log in), select "Program Category Type A", and submit online the completed Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship, and print a hard copy. You should consult the dispatching authorities for overseas study of your home country for Instructions of CGS Information Management System for International Students and Agency Number;

Step 4 - Submit all of your application documents to the dispatching authorities of your home country before the deadline.

NOTE : Only applications of recommended candidates from dispatching authorities will be considered. Candidates holding a Pre-admission Letter will be placed in the host university; those without the Pre-admission Letter should accept CSC's placement of university.

Rewards & Scholarships — currently enrolled students

Candidates: full-time, enrolled international students pursuing degrees at DHU

Qualification: meet the fundamentals requirements and special standards of the respective scholarships

1. Government Scholarship - Chinese Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship

Review and selection: once a year

Prize: CNY30,000 (postgraduate)

CNY18,000 (undergraduate)              

** Prize will be adjusted according to CSC

2. Social Scholarship

Review and selection: once a year

Prize: CNY10,000

3. DHU Scholarship - DHU Outstanding International Student Scholarship

Review and selection: once a year

1st Prize: CNY6,000

4. Individual Scholarship - Excellent Social Work Award

Review and selection: once a semester

Prize: CNY1,000

Prize: According to the levels and the types of competition, awards range from one hundred to thousands RMB.

Prize: According to DHU's relevant reward scheme, awards range from one hundred to thousands RMB
