Liaoning Province Government Scholarship

Introduction to Liaoning Province Government Scholarship for Doctoral Students 
In order to promote the mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges in various fields between Liaoning Province in China and other countries, the government in Liaoning Province has set up a doctoral scholarship program to sponsor international students, teachers and scholars who has got a master degree to further their study in doctoral degree and conduct research in universities in Liaoning Province, China. Education Department in Liaoning Province is responsible for the enrollment and the administration of Liaoning Province Government Scholarship program. Now, 10 designated universities in Liaoning Province offer the program, and Liaoning Technical University is one of the first universities which can enroll international doctoral students and offers  wide variety of academic programs in Science, Engineering, Economics, Management, Education and etc., for scholarship recipients at all levels.

Supporting Categories: Liaoning Province Government Scholarship programs sponsor excellent international students, teachers and scholars who have got a master degree to undertake PhD degree studies in Liaoning Province, in China.
Duration: 3 years.
Instruction Language: Chinese or English

II Coverage and Standard
Liaoning Province Government Scholarship program is a full scholarship and it covers tuition, accommodation . other expenditure like physical exam ,residence permit, books, luggage fee, internet should be paid by yourself.
Doctoral students/scholars: CNY 3,500 per month.
Within the scholarship duration, registered scholarship students will receive a stipend from their host university each month. Students registering on or before the 15th of the month will receive a full stipend of that month. Those who register after the 15th of the month will receive a half stipend of that month. Graduating students will receive stipend until half month after the graduation date. If registered student stays out of China for more than 15 days due to a personal reason (school holidays excluded), his stipend will be stopped during his leaving.

III. Registration
Application Requirement:
Applicant should be under 35 years old, healthy and have a master degree in related major.
Document Requirement：
1)copy of the passport page with photo and the first blank visa page ;
2)copy of corresponding degrees, graduation certificates and transcripts (should be notarized)；
3) recommendation letter of 2 associate professors or professors;
4) a study plan;
5)admission registration form of Liaoning Technical University (from forms download);
6)Liaoning Province Government Scholarship application form (from forms download)

Registration Time: from March 1st to April 15th
Admission Time: from August 25th to September 15th, exact time is on the admission notice for foreign students of Liaoning Technical University.
