JSNU Discipline Scholarship

In order to further promote international student education of Jiangsu Normal University, and to support and encourage more outstanding international students to study in Jiangsu Normal University, our university sets up a new scholarship program —— JSNU Discipline Scholarship for International Students, which is supported by various schools and faculties. Every school gives full play to its professional characteristics and takes advantage of its key disciplines to attract outstanding students from all over the world to study for Master Degrees in China.

MAJORS AND PLACES

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

1. Be non-Chinese citizens with valid foreign passports.

2. Be friendly to China and healthy both mentally and physically.

3. Have a degree equivalent to bachelor's degree or above in China.

4. Have good behavior, no truancy and other violations of school rules, and no violation of laws and regulations of China.

5. Achieve a score of 80 or above in each subject, or meet other equivalent requirements.

6. For Candidates who apply for English-taught majors, you must provide evidence of competence in English as follows during the validity period if your native language is not English: IELTS overall 6 or TOEFL overall 80 or other proof of English proficiency recognized by the school. For Candidates who apply for Chinese-taught majors, you must provide evidence of competence in Chinese as follows: at least Level 5 of International Chinese Proficiency Standard.

7. Not be awarded Chinese Government Scholarship, Confucius Institute Scholarship and other fully funded scholarships.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Step 1: Register your account at: https://admission.jsnu.edu.cn.

Step 2: Submit the application form online with materials as follow:

1. Photo 

2. Passport (photo page)

3. Bachelor's diploma, degree certificates and transcript (notarized in English)

4. None-criminal record

5. Study plan and two reference letters from experts/tutors

6. English Proficiency certificate (non-English speaking countries)/Chinese Proficiency Test (Chinese-taught major)

Step 3: Pay application fee (400 RMB)

Step 4: Pass language and professional competence interview.

Step 5: Admission Notice, Visa Application Form JW202 and Registration Instructions will be sent to you

Step 6: After receiving the materials, apply for the study (X) visa at the Chinese Embassy abroad and inform the university of relevant information of arrival.

Step 7: Register at International College of Jiangsu Normal University within the prescribed time according to the Admission Notice.

Step 8: Register on time and bring all the original documents with you.
