《My fieldwork time》

In May of this year, I followed Teacher Yang's team to conduct a field survey in a minority village in southeastern Guizhou Province.

During this process, I gained a lot. Firstly, I followed my classmates to conduct surveys during the day and write summaries together at night. I felt the importance of unity and cooperation. Every night, we gather together to understand each other and what we have learned today, promoting mutual communication and learning.

Secondly, when I went to Qiandongnan Prefecture, there are many delicious foods and I felt the enthusiasm of the local people. They warmly introduced us to the local cuisine and attractions, hoping that we would come and visit them frequently in the future.

Thirdly, at that time, Qiandongnan Prefecture was holding a cultural activity called "fa-Tofu Festival", which made me feel the unique ethnic customs. This is a local intangible cultural heritage and is very famous.The fa-Tofu production is very complex, but it is very delicious. Every traveler who comes to the local area to play will buy some to take home.

Fourthly, when interviewing the local village branch secretary, I learned from him the excellent qualities of hard work and serving the people.He is a hardworking, brave, and helpful leader, and the villagers love him very much.

Overall, this field survey has taught me how to unite and collaborate with my classmates, how to conduct field surveys, and how to experience a different ethnic atmosphere, which has greatly benefited me.
