Introduction
- USTC Scholarship was set up by University of Science and Technology of China to provide an opportunity for excellent international students to study at USTC. USTC Scholarship has two categories: USTC Scholarship A for degree seeking students; USTC Scholarship B for non-degree students.
Scholarship value
- Tuition waiver;
Monthly stipend: Bachelor's degree students: RMB 2,500, Master's degree students: RMB 3,000, Doctoral degree students: RMB 3,500; non-degree students will receive the same amount of stipend according to their educational level.
Eligibility requirements
- 1. Applicants for USTC Scholarship A:
Non-Chinese citizenship;
Not an awardee of Chinese Government Scholarship;
Applicants for bachelor's degree studies must hold a high school diploma and HSK Level 5 certificate and be under the age of 30;
Applicants for master's degree studies must hold a bachelor's degree (equivalent to bachelor's degree in China) and be under the age of 35;
Applicants for doctoral degree studies must hold a master's degree (equivalent to master's degree in China) and be under the age of 40.
2. Applicants for USTC Scholarship B:
Non-Chinese citizenship;
Exchange students from USTC partner universities; or excellent students from world-famous universities.

- USTC Scholarship A: submit online application in USTC online application system: http://isa.ustc.edu.cn/.
USTC Scholarship B: Applicants download and fill out the Application form for USTC Scholarship, contact with related professors for preacceptance, send all application documents to the hosting professor.
