Introduction
- Excellent Intern Scholarship is set up for international students for the purpose of cultivating the spirit of "understanding and befriending China, observing laws and disciplines and diligently learning with a studious and motivated attitude", and encouraging self-funded international students to study diligently, take clinical practice seriously, make continuous improvement and achieve excellent academic performance.
Scholarship value
- The number of candidates accounts for 10 percent of the number of clinical trainees of each hospital, each student RMB 2,000 each time.
Eligibility requirements
- 1. Candidates should comply with laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China as well as rules and regulations of Fujian Medical University and the Overseas Education College;
2. Candidates should not receive warning and above punishments due to breach of the regulations of the university in the appraisal period;
3. Candidates should not be tardy to pay tuition fee, accommodation fee, insurance fee and other fees in the appraisal period;
4. The major basis of the appraisal is the scores of rotation evaluation, which will be ranked from top to bottom and priority will be given to the top-ranking candidates;
5. Candidates should pass all rotation evaluation tests without absence or taking make-up exams;
6. Candidates should seriously complete contents specified by the Practice Outline for Internship, abide by rules and regulations of the hospital for internship and teaching arrangement of both the hospital and instructor without unexcused absence and medical negligence.
How to apply
- 1. The counselor and the academic staff of OEC will coordinate with the teaching organization of the Clinical Medical College to propose the list of recommended students for the preliminary assessment.
2. The Student Award Appraisal Leading Group of OEC will conduct the preliminary assessment, and the results will be publicly announced in the college for three working days.
3. After being publicly announced in the college for three working days, the results of the preliminary assessment which receives no objection will be submitted to the FMU International Student Award Appraisal Leading Group for approval. The appraisal results will be released after being publicly announced in the university for three working days without any objection.
