Scholarship value

  • 1. Candidates who take the HSK test before the end of the sixth semester: RMB 800 for HSK Level 4, RMB 1,000 for HSK Level 5 and RMB 1,200 for HSK Level 6.
    2. Candidates who take the HSK test before the end of the ninth semester (before taking clinical practice): RMB 450 for HSK Level 4, RMB 550 for HSK Level 5 and RMB 650 for HSK Level 6.

Eligibility requirements

  • 1. Candidates should comply with laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China as well as rules and regulations of Fujian Medical University and the Overseas Education College;
    2. Candidates should not receive warning and above punishments due to breach of the regulations of the university in the appraisal period;
    3. Candidates should not be tardy to pay tuition fee, accommodation fee, insurance fee and other fees in the appraisal period.
    4. Candidates should pass all exams of Chinese courses and take the HSK test before the end of the sixth semester with a score above 180.
    5. Candidates should take the HSK test before the end of the ninth semester (before taking clinical practice) with a score above 180.
    6. Candidates who take the HSK tests of successively increased levels with a score above 180 can respectively apply for corresponding scholarships according to the above provisions.
    7. Candidates should take the HSK test in Fujian Medical University.

How to apply

  • 1. Students should submit the application materials according to their HSK test scores.
    2. Chinese language teachers should be responsible for reviewing application materials and proposing the list of recommended students for preliminary assessment.
    3. The Student Award Appraisal Leading Group of OEC will conduct the preliminary assessment, being publicly announced in the college for three working days.
    4. The results of the preliminary assessment which receives no objection will be submitted to the FMU International Student Award Appraisal Leading Group for approval. The appraisal results will be released after being publicly announced in the university for three working days without any objection.
