The Red Flag Canal and, by extension, China herself, has enriched my worldview, and for that, I am forever grateful.

Having lived in China for close to a decade, my love affair with its culinary delights is age-old. Yet, every city surprised me with its own gastronomic tales. As an international student, the "Experience China" activity has not just been an academic sojourn but a journey of the soul. With each city I explored, with each tale I heard, I felt an even stronger connection to this land that I have called home. This expedition, though one among many, stands out in its intensity and depth. Eight years in China, and every day unfurls a new facet of its beauty and history.
