In the winter of 2000, the year of the millennium, it was the first time that my parents had been to Beijing.
On a sunshine morning in 2009, our family got on the plane bound for my mother’s hometown Hong Kong for a settle-down.

Although I failed to study in China because of the epidemic, I have had many warm and beautiful “encounters” with China in Kenya, and I increasingly believe that my future will be closely connected with China.
I was sleeping on the cushion of clouds, sunlight scattered all over and I opened my eyes & saw that rainbow in the limitless sky expressing the gratitude & welcomed me....then my flight landed in China.
I went to Beijing for the first time in 2013. At that time I did not speak a word in Chinese, but luckily I had a Beijing partner with me who was always ready to explain to me what I was seeing and hearing in my new surroundings, so I did not have to worry about anything.
