China Daily, the country's largest national English-language news group, in collaboration with the Bank of China, is launching a story contest about China's amazing decade, from 2012 to 2022, seeking fresh voices from foreigners.
The story contest - organized by the China Services Information Platform (chinaservicesinfo.com) - offers, among other rewards, a top prize of US $1,000.
Submissions are open from Aug 9 through Sept 25 to foreigners who have lived in the county or have had any other dealings with the country during that fast-changing decade.
Works can be submitted in three categories, articles (photos may be included), photography or videos. Only works produced in English will be accepted.
In the photography section, 100 photos will be selected and assembled into a collection, with their owners receiving 200 yuan for each winning image.
Apart from the grand prize, participants will get a chance to see their stories featured on chinaservicesinfo.com and its social media accounts.
