A closing ceremony for the 2022 Global Leadership Program held by East China Normal University (ECNU) in China and Korea University (KU) in South Korea took place online on Aug 5.
Three teachers from the International Department of KU attended the closing ceremony. They congratulated the students on their completion of the program and encouraged them to continue learning Chinese language and culture in the future.
Additionally, the students discussed their thoughts and benefits from the program. Some participants reported that as a result of the training, they now feel confident speaking Chinese and have a deeper understanding of China's politics, economy, history, and culture.
Since 2015, the Global Leadership Program has been conducted in-person on the ECNU campus. It was moved online in 2021 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. More than 450 students have taken part in this program thus far.
