Pakistan native Bhatti Saifullah is currently studying at Jiangnan University in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province.
He likes making short videos about his daily life and sharing them on social media platforms like Facebook and Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok. "This is to keep memories and showcase China to more people in other countries," Saifullah said.
He recently spent the Spring Festival holiday with his schoolmates in a village in Nantong, Jiangsu. "I still remember the lively scene when I first celebrated the Spring Festival in a Chinese village in 2019. We pasted up Spring Festival couplets, had New Year's Eve dinner, and visited relatives," said Saifullah.
"The Chinese New Year is about family reunions, and my family will come to China soon in March or April," he added.
Saifullah started to pursue a bachelor's degree at Shanghai International Studies University in 2016. He travelled to many cities in the Yangtze River Delta region, including Nanjing and Suzhou, while in college. After graduation, he returned to Pakistan and worked there for a year.
