Sixty-nine international East China University of Science and Technology students from 28 countries recently went on a spring outing in Fengjing town in Shanghai.
The foreign students first visited the Chinese Farmer Painting Village in the town where they learned about the artistic characteristics of Chinese farmer paintings and tried creating Chinese farmer paintings with a paintbrush.
While visiting Fengjing Ancient Town, a water town, the students tasted local traditional snakes, strolled around the ancient dwellings, toured the town by boat and experienced the beauty and history of the scenic town in Jiangnan, which is located in the southern reaches of the Yangtze River.
