The 2023 SILC International Culture Week was held by Shanghai University's SILC Business School from March 17 to 31 and displayed different countries' cultures and encouraged cultural exchanges among students.

Chinese, Russian, Thai, and African students set up cultural booths at the event to introduce their cultures to visitors.

Sebastijan Kuzmanov, an undergraduate from Macedonia, said that he made new friends from other countries through the activity and learned about their countries' cultures. He added that the cultural booths also left a deep impression on him.

Tham Jin Hwam, also an undergraduate, said that it is a really interesting activity as visitors can watch performances and participate in games and every cultural booth has distinctive features.

"I had an amazing experience and learned a lot from the cultures that were displayed," said Vuyelwa Moledi, a doctoral student.

Co-founded by Shanghai University and the University of Technology Sydney in 1994, the SILC Business School is one of the first Sino-foreign joint business schools in China.
