2023 Shanghai University Summer School accepting applications

The 2023 Shanghai University Chinese Language and Culture Summer School themed on "Exchange Culture • Experience Shanghai" is currently open for applications.

According to the university, the summer school features lively and effective Chinese language courses, a lecture series, as well as culture practices for personal participation in which students can experience and understand the essence of Chinese culture.

It also includes a variety of visits and exchange activities to explore the spirit of Shanghai as a modern Chinese city, as well as a field trip to Suzhou and Hangzhou, which are famously known as "China's most famous paradises on earth", to feel the charm of Jiangnan (south of the Yangtze River) water towns.

It is expected to be held from July 15 to Aug 13, running four weeks in total. The language of instruction is English.

Foreigners between 18 and 45 years old who have graduated from high school or above can apply for the summer school. An X2 visa is required.
