Li Qiuping, a student who is learning how to teach Chinese at Shanghai University, gave a lecture on the history of Peking Opera to the foreign students. She also sang some classic arias and performed some Peking Opera moves.

Li then introduced the classifications, history and characteristics of Peking Opera masks to allow the foreign students to understand various roles in Peking Opera and the profound Chinese culture behind the masks. The students then learned how to paint Peking Opera masks under Li's guidance.
