The Shanghai University of Political Science and Law (SHUPL) recently held the fifth Teacher and Student Dragon Boat Racing to promote traditional Chinese culture.
Twenty teams participated in the competition. The SHUPLGlobal team, which consists of international students from Russia, Kazakhstan and Mongolia and their teachers, won the race.
Dragon boat racing is a traditional Chinese water sport with an emphasis on teamwork.
The international students also got to learn about Chinese dragon boat culture and the spirit of the race during the event.
