East China's Jiangsu province has emerged as one of the main destinations for international students. A total of 190,000 students from 182 countries have come to the province to study in the past five years.

Students are eager to bring the "Chinese experience" to their home countries to benefit their compatriots. A Sudanese doctoral student with the Chinese name Su Meng, who is studying crop cultivation and agronomy at Yangzhou University, has learned how to achieve high crop yields even in unfavorable conditions. "It is not only about acquiring knowledge and technical skills but also inheriting a culture and spirit," the student said, adding that he plans to adapt these techniques to the land of Sudan to improve the harvest.

Anna, an Armenian student, returned to her home country and became a Chinese language teacher after graduating from Nanjing University in 2019. "I taught children Chinese poetry and customs. I also run a social media account where I post many Chinese stories in Armenian or English." In March of this year, she returned to Nanjing University to pursue her doctoral degree. "Now, I can share newer and timelier information on my account. I hope I can get more people interested in China," she added.

"Whether it's e-commerce, payment methods, logistics, or China's infrastructure construction, everything is highly efficient and has astonished me," said an Uzbekistani student from the Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. "This has inspired me to establish a cross-border e-commerce company in the future. I want to contribute to economic and trade exchanges between China and Uzbekistan," he said.

"China is committed to strengthening friendship and cooperation between countries through education and exchanges. I hope that more foreign students like myself, will continue striving for success and promoting international cooperation," said a Russian student at Nanjing Normal University.
