International students from the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) recently visited the headquarters of the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) on November 29.
During the visit, the 13 students gained insight into the history of the largest oil and gas producer and supplier in China, and listened to the experiences of young employees working there. Given their similar ages, the students found inspiration in the valuable insight and professional journeys shared by their peers, expressing admiration for the CNPC's corporate culture.
This event, jointly organized by the CNPC and the UIBE School of International Education, aimed to deepen understanding of Chinese corporate culture and employment policies among international students. Additionally, it sought to assist students in formulating clearer career development paths.
Concurrently, China's central enterprises aimed to enhance their brand value by showcasing a positive image and sharing their management philosophies to expand their international influence.
Eladl Nada Hassan Ibrahim Ahmed, a master's student majoring in International Trade at UIBE and a recipient of the Chinese Government Scholarship, shared her thoughts on the experience. She said, "The knowledge I gained from this tour will significantly impact my future career and professional development. These valuable experiences will stay with me throughout my life."
Ahmed expressed her aspiration to contribute to the foreign trade between China and Egypt in the future.
Looking ahead, the UIBE School of International Education plans to organize more internship programs, employment activities, and entrepreneurship-related initiatives for international students.
The goal is to cultivate more international talents who not only understand, but also identify with, and are familiar with China. This initiative aims to provide valuable insight for Chinese enterprises seeking to go global.
