The award ceremony of the Jiangsu Foreigners' Essay Contest, organized by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu on Nov 22.
This year's essay contest, the seventh session since its launch, saw the participation of over 1,000 foreigners in Jiangsu, including entrepreneurs, researchers, teachers, and students. In total, 310 essays were collected from individuals hailing from 55 different countries, and 75 outstanding pieces received the honor.
During the award ceremony, six winners expressed their works through recitations. The Jiangsu Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries presented collections of the winning essays to four institutions, including Southeast University and the Nanjing Library.

Jiangsu is currently home to a community of 100,000 permanent foreign residents. The Jiangsu Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries has been organizing a diverse array of activities for them, creating a platform that not only fosters cultural exchange but also deepens people-to-people friendships.
