Representatives from the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (MoECRT), local governments, and universities paid a visit to Yangzhou Polytechnic Institute on Jan 29.
During the visit, Ni Yonghong, principal of YPI, emphasized the institute's commitment to fostering friendly partnerships with Indonesian education authorities and academic institutions. He highlighted the college's dedication to serving the needs of enterprises and talent development through implementing educational programs, and expressed hopes to contribute to professional personnel development in Indonesia.
Yaya Sutarya, deputy head of international education with the MoECRT, commended YPI for its proactive sharing of advanced concepts and experiences in vocational education. He also praised the college's contributions to enhancing vocational education quality, promoting industry-education integration, and facilitating industrial transformation and upgrading.
Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on further improving research and training facilities and strengthening cooperation in professional resource development, and reached mutual agreements on enhancing collaboration in various aspects.
