A group of foreigners gathered at the Juyuanchun Tea Plantation in Yangzhou, Jiangsu on March 28 to experience traditional Chinese culture through tea-picking and tasting.
Hailing from countries including Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan, the expats joined local farmers to learn the art of harvesting tea leaves. They donned tea baskets and ventured into the tea fields to experience the centuries-old tradition firsthand.
Following the picking session, they observed the meticulous process of tea-roasting and had the opportunity to taste freshly prepared tea.
