This year, the university looks to reach out to its alumni and organize open-day activities, allowing them to establish a closer connection and deeper bond with their alma mater, Wang said.
He put forward his expectations for the association, including strengthening ties among the alumni and building a complete network for BFSU alumni worldwide, as well as establishing a new pattern of educational and cultural cooperation and helping promote friendly relations between China and Indonesia.
Wu Wenxia, a former senior Indonesian language professor at BFSU's School of Asian Studies, conveyed her best wishes via video message, encouraging the alumni association to play a pivotal role in fostering Sino-Indonesian friendship.

He pledged to work diligently under the supervision and guidance of the university and the BFSU General Alumni Association to build a robust organization that serves both its members and the alma mater. It also looks to contribute to the Sino-Indonesian community with a shared future and support the development of China's major country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics.
In a speech representing alumni, Wu Zhihui, a graduate majoring in Indonesian, extended his thanks for the education he received at BFSU, which equipped him with linguistic skills for multiple roles across various sectors, including his involvement in major Sino-Indonesian cooperation projects such as the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway.
