An international recruitment fair held in Chaoyang, Beijing

On April 27, the first "Embrace the Future, Talent in Chaoyang" Recruitment Fair for International Students was successfully held at the University of International Business and Economics (Shuxiang Square).

This recruitment event was jointly organized by the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Chaoyang district, the Malaysian Beijing Students Association and the Beijing Indonesian Students Association in China. It received strong support from the Malaysian Embassy in China, the Indonesian Embassy in China, and the University of International Business and Economics.

Bi Zhongwei, director of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Chaoyang district, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. He said that the "Embrace the Future, Talent in Chaoyang" Recruitment Fair for college graduates to boost employment in Chaoyang district has been successfully held for four years.

Bi said, it is a unique and highly influential brand recruitment activity for college graduates in the district. This year, for the first time, the bureau collaborated with embassies, universities, and student unions to organize the city's first international recruitment event, which is a new attempt for Chaoyang to explore international talent introduction models and an important measure for Chaoyang to attract foreign talents and enhance regional internationalization.

The recruitment activity attracted the participation of more than 50 well-known companies in Chaoyang district, such as Meituan and Anton Petroleum, bringing more than 350 positions for foreign students. Nearly 1,300 foreign students took part, coming from 55 countries such as Russia, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia and Indonesia. Nearly 300 people reached initial employment agreement with recruitment companies. This activity covered a wide range of industries and fields such as operations, chemical, mechanical, electronic and pharmaceutical. A special enterprise promotion section was set up on-site, and bilingual hosting and simultaneous translation sections were set up to comprehensively introduce the "first-hand information" of the recruitment position to foreign students and help them to accurately understand the details of the position. At the same time, exclusive brand booths were also set up for participating companies on site, allowing foreign students to freely choose to listen to company presentations or engage in in-depth communication with company representatives, in order to achieve precise matching of personal job expectations and positions.

This recruitment activity built an international and professional employment service platform for foreign students in Beijing, and it also provided a platform for enterprises to show their brand image and efficiently attract international elites. Bi emphasized that going forward, Chaoyang will continue to hold the "Embrace the Future, Talent in Chaoyang" Recruitment Fair for International Students, establish a strong brand, provide excellent services, and achieve practical results. He said that Chaoyang will continue to explore the mechanism of cooperation between government, schools and enterprises to attract, retain and cultivate foreign students, to help them make a smooth transition from campus to the workplace; Chaoyang will fully leverage its unique international resource endowment, continuously optimize talent services, and guide foreign students to stay in Chaoyang.

"We hope to work together to create a new picture of international talent communication and cooperation in Chaoyang. We welcome foreign students to work and start businesses in Chaoyang and pursue their ambitious dreams," Bi said.

"Gathering talents from all over the world and engaging them" is the essence of enhancing talent competitiveness. This international recruitment event in Chaoyang district provides practical reference for attracting foreign students to work locally in various regions, and also provides practical cases for creating a trend of international talent aggregation in the region, promoting the localization of international talents, and leveraging the advantages of international talents. It will further broaden the innovative ideas and international perspectives of talents, and accelerate the development of regional internationalization with talents.
