Southeast University hosted a Chinese traditional culture experience event and a series of activities in celebration of the International Chinese Language Day on April 27. Chinese and international students from the university together donned traditional Chinese clothing, practiced Chinese rituals, and explored the art of tie-dyeing, fostering cultural exchange and deepening mutual understanding.

The event featured a fashion show where international students and Chinese students of various ethnic groups showcased the intricate dressing styles, etiquette norms, and cultural significance of traditional Chinese clothing.
Tie-dyeing is a unique dyeing craft with a rich history in China. At the event, two teachers from Nanjing University of the Arts and Southeast University provided detailed explanations of the origin, development, and techniques of tie-dyeing.
