Over 40 foreign diplomats in China embarked on an immersive travel experience, discovering a variety of new cultural and tourism hot spots in the capital city, during June 28-30.
They were participants in the "Discover China Cultural Tour of Beijing For Diplomats in China", organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in collaboration with the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism. Representing more than 20 countries, including Morocco, Argentina, South Africa, and the Seychelles, these diplomats explored distinctive cultural and tourism destinations in Tongzhou, Chaoyang, Shijingshan and Mentougou districts. Through this journey, they delved into Beijing's rich cultural heritage and experienced the vibrant essence of the city as a globally renowned cultural hub.
The tour aims to provide foreign diplomats with a deeper understanding of the high-quality development of Chinese culture and tourism. It seeks to foster appreciation for Beijing's cultural heritage, modern expressions, as well as acquaint them with the latest policies and services designed for inbound travelers.
