The tenth Apricot Blossom Festival of Jilin University kicked off on Sunday at its Nanling Campus in Changchun, Jilin province, attracting over 120,000 visitors, including teachers, students, alumni and locals.
Along the 70-meter-long Apricot Blossom Avenue, 254 apricot trees lined both sides, symbolizing the campus' vitality and vigor.
This year's event features eight main exhibition areas, including the 70th-anniversary exhibition of the engineering discipline at Jilin University, college student performances, presentations of scientific and technological innovations by students, exhibitions of technological innovations by alumni companies from the engineering school, interactive experiences related to apricot blossom culture, student club activities and undergraduate enrollment promotion.
