The delegates were deeply impressed by both the site's majestic architecture and its historical role as a crucial distribution center on the ancient Silk Road.

"The inclusion of this site on the UNESCO list demonstrates the contributions Chinese civilization has made—and continues to make—to world heritage and our shared human history," said Hussam Al Husseini, Jordan's ambassador to China.

The Ningxia segment of the cultural tour continues through Friday. The itinerary is designed to provide the diplomats with an immersive experience of the region's diverse culture, encompassing not only heritage sites like the Xixia Tombs but also natural wonders such as the Shapotou desert resort and the Qingtongxia Yellow River Grand Canyon.
