The poets also noted that poetry, as an art form that transcends language and location, has the power to break through cultural barriers, bring together the essence of different civilizations, and convey shared human emotions and values. In poetic exchanges, hearts can connect and resonate continuously. Poetry encourages dialogue and integration among cultures, enabling people from different countries and nations to find a common language in a world enriched with poetic expressions.
Before the symposium, the poets visited exhibitions on contemporary Chinese literature and the writers’ studies at the National Museum of Modern Chinese Literature. They also donated autographed books and manuscripts to the museum.
