Organized by the School of International Education in Tiangong University, international students visited the Tianjin Planning Exhibition Hall during the weeklong National Day holiday, which lasted from Oct 1 to 7.
As part of the activity "Experiencing China — learning about the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) ", the visit was intended to show the great achievements of China in an all-around way, guide international students to deeply understand the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and learn the development history and modern blueprint of Tianjin.
The exhibition showed the urban planning and development footprint of Tianjin, the ecosystem planning and construction of its Binhai New Area, and the region’s characteristic tourism.
With the help of their teachers, the students had a more visual experience of the rapid changes of Tianjin, explored its urban changes and development, and comprehensively perceived the new pattern of coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region in the same direction with integrated measures, complementary advantages, and mutual benefits.
Students said that through the visit they have a more profound understanding of the development of Tianjin and of the relationship between people and the city.
Some students expressed great interest in the ecological system of Tianjin and Binhai New Area, hoping to further understand the urban ecological construction of Tianjin in the future.
