Jiangnan University in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province recently organized a trip to Yixing, a county-level city in Wuxi, to help its international students better learn about Chinese history and culture.
Thirty-six international students from 10 countries including Sudan, Pakistan, Egypt, Yemen, and Benin attended a cultural experience event in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province from Nov 5 to 12.
Fifty international students from countries such as Russia and Ukraine have taken part in a special activity to learn about traditional Chinese culture, according to a local news report.
Sponsored by the China Scholarship Council and undertaken by Central South University, a social and cultural experience activity with the theme "Experiencing China in Gorgeous Hunan" successfully kicked off on May 11, 2019.
Forty-one international students from the Dongbei University of Finance & Economics and Dalian Jiaotong University who are on a Chinese government scholarship came to Yuanyanggang Port in Changhai County in Dalian, Northeast China's Liaoning province, to attend the "Experiencing China Program" on Sept 23.
Organized by the School of International Education in Tiangong University, international students visited the Tianjin Planning Exhibition Hall during the weeklong National Day holiday, which lasted from Oct 1 to 7.
Sponsored by the China Scholarship Council and Harbin Engineering University, the activity "Experiencing China—Visiting Industries in Heilongjiang Province" was held from July 22 to 23.
